Barry Welsh Is Coming--The Creambrings together the highlights of three series from the ... more
nightmare spoof TV presenter. Drawn from a fine pedigree--the show was created by the people behind the marvellousTrigger Happy TVand Barry himself is portrayed with cringe-worthy accuracy by John Sparkes fromAbsolutely--the programme draws much of its humour from the same vein as Steve Coogan's mercurial Alan Partridge creation. Extremely regional in its source humour, other characters featured include Fishguard's own reporter Hugh Pugh, Celtic daredevil Geraint Pillock and Dave, Dave and Dave, the men from Animal Rescue Squad (think about it). It's all very rude, parochial and immature but also often very funny indeed. Those who have come across the TV show and indulged should not hesitate (there is much unbroadcast material), while those without a sensitive nature should certainly give it a thought.--Phil Udell

Advantages: Soothes very dry skin Disadvantages: Can be greasy
I have to say that I wrote this review just because this product kind of took me by surprise. This was given to me (a trial size) by a friend and I stupidly made the assumption it was a moisturiser. When I looked at the tube it said 'skin protectant' and no more.
On further inspection on the back I realised that with a trial size, added to the fact that my friend didn't give me the box, confused me further. I unscrewed the cap from the white tube and squeezed. Not a lot happened so I squeezed again. Slowly a bronzed coloured substance came out that to be honest looked more like lip balm than cream. I then jumped on the internet and found that this product is meant to soothe, restore, calm and help relieve chapped, cracked or dry skin. Soothes roughness, redness and minor skin irritations. I realised that with one of the ingredients ...
Advantages: None Disadvantages: Expensive, not available in small quantities.
I bought this year?s ago as so many raved about it in the press. I can only guess they've never tried vaseline which achieves the same things at a fraction of the price. 8 Hour Cream seems to be petroleum jelly with added colour and scent and a slightly rougher texture. The odour is strong; though not unpleasant it does mean my husband won't touch it - a shame as he suffers from dry skin patches which I'm sure it would help. On the upside I've had my tube years and the product has remained in the same condition without any special storage. I was at a bit of a loss as to what to use it for - a friend suggested using it as cuticle cream which I plan to do - waste not want not ...
Advantages: class player, important for england, proven captain Disadvantages: not worth 18 million quid, not better than Xabi Alonso
partnership with Lucas, Mascherano and Gerrard and also who wouldn't cost the Reds a single penny? Yes, many Reds fans would agree that selling Alonso for a small profit just to bring in Gareth simply does not make sense.
So finally we come to the important bit, the price. Liverpool have already made a bid of around £12 million for the services of Barry but have had to up it to around 15 million great British pounds. Still though, Villa boss Martin O'Neill is not content and he will not budge on his £18 million valuation for his influential skipper. Fair enough. Barry may have been worth £12 million or possible even slightly more, but isn't £18 million far too much? Alonso only cost the Red half of Merseyside just over £10 million and he at worst is as good as Barry! Talking about Alonso, in order to bring Barry to Anfield, the Reds would have ...
