Starting the day earlier than he intended, his alarm clock a Gen digital goes off at 6:14,flashing up Gen 6:14 his first clue to the strange events about to befall him.
A house warming gift, a box filled with old tools, mysteriously appears at his front door a truckload of wood is delivered to Evan's house.
Ultimately, God (Morgan Freeman) appears to Evan, and commands him to build an ARK in the middle of a new housing development experiencing the driest weather on record. He is also instructed to fill it with animals to protect them against a coming flood.

Advantages: Exciting, tense Disadvantages: Stupid plot, not based enough on the book
...The Lost World: Jurassic Park, never did, and was never likely to live up to the standards of the classic first film. We find out that there is now another island, Isla Sorna, where InGen created their famous dinosaurs, and this time there are no electrified fences.
It of course makes this film exciting from the moment they get on the island, but it also makes what is to follow just a little bit predictable. Going to an island where animals as vicious and powerful as Tyrannosaurus and Velociraptor live without fences is daring at best, and suicidal at worst.
Jurassic Park 2 is exciting, no doubt about it, but for me the plot is just ridiculous, especially when the T-Rex reaches the mainland and causes havoc in San Diego. Its important to realise the great majority of these two films take place on remote jungle islands, just about...

Advantages: Great action, great fun Disadvantages: None
...As you may be able to tell already, I do love my Hong Kong movies. I watched this one a few years back and still own it on DVD along with the sequel Gen Y Cops.
I primarily bought this as Stephen Fung and Nicholas Tse were in it after seeing them together in the film 2002. I then saw this movie of them together and decided to buy Gen x Cops on DVD.
This is a fun movie to watch and there is really no need for subtitles half the movie is in English anyway. I know most of it is in Cantonese, a little Japanese, but the majority is English.
The cast line is excellent with most of the big stars in hong kong securing fantastic characters within the story, stars such as , Toru Nakamura, Francis Ng, Sam Lee, Daniel Wu, Eric Tsang and Terrence Yin
If you love Hong Kong action movies with lots of fight sequences then you will love this movie...
