Advantages: Very catchy, addictive and entertaining Disadvantages: Not very good extras
...As my son (18 months) is rapidly becoming a Roary the Racing Car fan, I thought that we should be one of the first families to purchase this DVD.
Managed to order it online from Amazon, along with another item and got both for less than the high street price and free delivery to boot.
Anyway...the review -
The DVD is based on the adventures of a little red racing car called Roary. He stays at the Silverhatch race track with his friends. Most episodes feature Roary and his four racing car friends (Maxi, CiCi, Drifter and Tin Top. There are also two human characters called Big Chris (voiced by Peter Kay) and Marsha (The race marshall).
On the surface this DVD looks every bit as good as the first one in the series (Roary's First Day), but it has 7 episodes instead of 5. Although I still think that is a bit meager. Also has two...

Advantages: budget well spent Disadvantages: a little bit of bad acting,
...unknown and most of the earth is covered in water. The presence of dry land is so far in the past that it has become a myth.
The human race is divided into several categories of people which are Smokers, Slavers, Atoll Dwellers and Traders. Kevin Costner, or the Mariner as he is known in the movie has mutated and comes into an atoll to trade one day; and even though his mutation is not obvious, it is discovered anyway and he is sentenced to death because of it. When the Atoll is attacked, a little girl Enola and her caregiver, Helen save the Mariner in hopes that they will be able to go with him since they have nowhere else to go. Advantages: Race coverage, commentary, EXCITEMENT!!!! Disadvantages: Not many driver interviews
...I have been following the BTCC since 1998, and I have to say that it is now more exciting than it has EVER been!!.
The 2004 BTCC season saw the closest title battle ever known, against the VX Racing team mates. The BTCC always produces wheel to wheel and bumper to bumper racing action!!, and the 2004 season is no exception to this fact!!.
There is also some excellent on-board race footage!!. The BTCC DVD does dissapoint when it comes to Extras on the DVD, however this DVD also contains the BTCC Masters race, which was a one off race where past BTCC legends, such as Alain Menu, John Cleland, Kelvin Burt, Tim Harvey and many many more, were reunited, and what a fantastic race it was too!!.
The race coverage is excellent!!, with every single race covered (The BTCC is made up of 3 races per event).
Do not miss your opportunity...
