Instructor Suzanne Deason combines simple yoga and Pilates exercises into a balance ball routine to create a full-body beginner's workout that strengthens muscles, improves posture, increases flexibility, and boosts body awareness.
Advantages: Not a cardio workout and quite relaxing Disadvantages: hard on the muscles
...This was the second workoutdvd I purchased and I love it. Pilates is a type of workout that is not based on quantity of movements and works on the quality.
The presenter in this dvd is very friendly and explains everthing very clearly all the way through. The dvd itself shows beginner, intermediate and expert versions of each move so that you can progress slowly.
The movements are all floor based and require bending, stretching and some flexibility. Dont worry if you arent flexible yet, You will be .
I have don the workout 3 times now and already feel more flexibilty and toning.
The dvd has a great intro that explains breathing and how to do each movement. Then you can either do all of the exercises or select the ones you want to do. There are 2 that require rolling like a ball and I cannot do them yet so I just skip past them...

Advantages: Excellent training video with lots of tough skills. Disadvantages: Not for Beginners and terrible football Kits
...I've got Simon's other DVD's and this one is in the same tradition. It is worth getting for the players tricks in the warm up and the dribbling at the end. Simon Clifford worked on the Michael Owen DVD, the Okocha DVD and play like a Brazilian. Apart from Simon's kit the DVD is excellent and no matter who you are you will learn a trick or two.
This DVD is definitely not for beginners it does not cover any of the basics but if you can already do turns like the cruyff and the Matthew's this is the perfect step up for a budding Ronaldinho.
Some of these Tricks are very tough and you will really need to practice them everyday which is why the Workout with Mr Woo is so good.
The Mr Woo work-out is excellent the things that man can do with a ball is amazing it is a variety of moves that you should practice for one minute every day.

Advantages: Its excellent for beginners and includes a simple effective workout Disadvantages: There are interviews in between the warm ups- and stretches.
...When I first bought this dvd it was intended to help me get into shape and learn the values of Sanjuro technique. This is something I have always wanted to do but lived too far away from classes, so this became my second option.
The video, like any other workout video, teaches you the basics in warm up and workout routines. I see myself as reasonably fit and this didn't really work it for me. However, if you are a beginner in workout video's I would say this was extremely useful and can seem quite difficult to keep up with the punches and stepping needed to go with balance.
The steps in the workout are not explained very well and when you first view the video you struggle with where to put your feet and punch at the same time. I'd say it would take around four watches to be confident in the foot work.
The workout is very strenuous...
