If you've never seen an episode of Balamory it features stories based around the lives of seven colourful and cheerful adult characters living in Balamory.
Josie Jump is one of these characters-the gym teacher who is always full of energy. She never sits still! Josie loves to dance and run and jump, and play sport.
There are three Balamory episodes in this DVD all featuring Josie Jump.
Couch Potato Poor Edie McCredie is worn out after rushing around doing chores for Archie, who is just being lazy and eating too many biscuits! They call on Josie Jump to help them restore their energy levels.
The Ballet Josie has a great idea for a ballet performance at the nursery. Spencer is on hand to build some scenery, but how can they get it into the nursery without spoiling the surprise?
Tantrums Things keep going wrong for Archie, which makes him very cross indeed. Although he tries to stay calm, he just can't control his temper. It's up to Josie to teach him how to relax. Each episode has a fun song which all children under 5 will love.
Balamory is a great DVD it combines storytelling, great characters and light learning.
It is targeted at pre-school children, ages 3-5 years. However, I have a one year old who loves watching this DVD. It's the only time she's quiet. She's already trying to sing along to the theme tune and loves copying Josie's dance moves.
I would definately recommend this DVD but if you have not got Balamory Musical Stories I would get that one first. This is for real Josie fans.
