What's the story in Balamory?Wouldn't you like to know?
If you've never seen an episode of Balamory it features stories based around the lives of seven colourful and cheerful adult characters living in Balamory.

Archie is one of these characters who is the clever inventor always making new inventions for his friends in Balamory.

There are three Balamory episodes in this 56 minute DVD all featuring Archie.

Doctors and Nurses
Miss Hoolie asks Archie to help with a hospital game for the children, but he doesn't know what to make. Luckily, Edie McCredie is able to tell him about her recent visit to a hospital, which helps Archie to think of a fantastic idea.

Fish Supper
When Miss Hoolie organises a fish supper at the nursery, she calls on Spencer for help. Spencer and Archie make a fishing game, but Spencer forgets to order the fish and it looks as though there will be nothing to eat! It's down to Suzie Sweet to make sure that the fish supper is a success.

Newborn Baby
Spencer goes to see Penny Pocket and Suzie Sweet in order to buy a present for his neighbour's new baby girl, but ends up making mischief instead! He buys some paper plates, but how can he make them into a present for the baby? Archie has the answer.
Each episode has a fun song which all children under 5 will love.

Balamory is a great DVD it combines storytelling, great characters and light learning.

It is targeted at pre-school children, ages 3-5 years. However, I have a one year old who loves watching this DVD. It's the only time she's quiet. She's already trying to sing along to the theme tune.
I would definately recommend any Balamory DVD but if you have not got Balamory Musical Stories I would get that one first. This is for real Archie fans.

DVD Extras: Bonus episode. Archie's sing-a-long. Catch The Fish game. Make your own inventions. Special introduction from Archie. Animated menus. Scene selection.
