...it is the one of the most popular and long running movie in bollywood history which is came out about 30 years ago and it is still popular movie with star cast one of the greatet hindi suparstar amitabh bachan and dharmendra with a lot of sense of humour,love and violence. There are very few songs in the movie.eventhough they are absolutely fantastic. the main things of the movie is dialogue of the movie which is still very popular in india. one of the great viallian character in hindi movie Amajad khan played the villain part in the moive which is unbeatable for his acting. the film is based on small village in which two swinder save village people from terror of robbers and eventually die. However, there are a lot of violence in the movie. but u love it.... Read review

...I watch hindi films all the time and i must say this is isn't that great, especially if you compare it to the the most recent blockbuster called Kaho Naa Pyar Hai. However it is good fun to watch and there is the usual mixture of romance, violence and action in this film. The leading man and lady make very good debuts and will go on to great futures i am sure. The only real downfall is that it is very long -it is worth seeing if you don't mind sitting still for 3 and a half hrs !... Read review

...karan johars debut movie is a breath of fresh air for hindi cinema.The movie boasts terrific lead performances with kajol especially outstanding.The music score is very hummable and songs are picturerised very well.The story is very sweet and engages at the heartstrings with its emotions.The only slight weakness is that at times it is a bit too sweet but overall a great debut film. shah rukh khan has once again delivered an excellent performance bring sublety and great nuances to his role as the widowed husband,.Rani mukherjee is a standout in her short role conveying a deep sensuality but it is kajol who steals the film with her tomboyish look and sizzling spark.The child actors in the film also provide nice perforamnces and the overall look and feel of film is classy...
