Tracks". By definition you'd assume that all the songs were by girls who were bad, but a scan through the track list gets you wondering what's so dastardly about the Sugababes, Rhianna or the infamous B*Witched. Despite the tenuous marketing angle this double-disc compilation does boast a whole load of great songs kicking off with Kelly Osbourne's "Papa Don't Preach" and ending with the Britpop anthem "Ready To Go" by Republica. There are too many highlights worth mentioning along the way but the mix of pop (Britney, Christina Aguilera, Spice Girls); R&B (TLC, Aaliyah, Destiny's Child); Hip-hop (Missy Elliott, Princes Superstar) and classic oldies, such as Transvision Vamp and Donna Summer, make this a more than worthy addition to any collection of party CDs. --David Trueman

Madeleine Stowe plays the leader of this group quite well I think. She is in love with a young man who has suffered at the hands of a former lover of Stowe's. This makes for an interesting addition to the plot.

I thought Andie was a bit two dimensional but maybe that is her acting method that she transfers from film to film. MSM and Drew were quite good I thought. Altogether the film is a good way to spend part of the evening and makes a bit of a change to the normal western.

Bad girls is about 4 prostitutes (Drew Barrymore, Madeline Stowe, Andie MacDowell, Mary Stuart Masterson) who are fed up with all the men wanting them for one thing!!! They decide they deserve better and team up to travel the Old West. One of the ladies has deeds to to some land and wants to use this to set up their own ranch. But, they accidentally get involved in a robbery, and have to go on the run.
I think this is a great simple, ... ...overall girl bonding feel to it. Plus, the girls look great!!!!
It is a story of the depth of friendship, strength, starting over, finding love and fighting back. Who said women can't kick some butt (ok maybe in certain scenes, they show that they can't), but still a real feel good movie.
Its directed by Jonathan Kaplan, and the length of the movie is 99mins. Not a long film, at all.
This movie would be good viewing for everyone. ...

Advantages: Helen And Nikki snogging and more? Great programme, you should know. Disadvantages: Hmm, 16 hours of Bad Girls...no wonder why I am so tired.
Yet another op about the best drama on TV, yep, you guessed it, BadGirls (they did just win an award for best drama as well, ya know, so there?s prove, so there.) Being a devotee with this programme, I went out and brought all the box sets as soon as they hit the shops, which was of course on VHS a couple years back, it provided me with well over 36 hours of BadGirls (whey hey). Then, recently I stumbled across the DVD version of the series (why do they release them years later?grrr), but this time with extras?how could I resist? So, I started with Series 2, seeing as this Series is one of my favourites along with the first series.
DELETED SCENES
Nothing really vital here, but still interesting to watch, especially if you are a big devotee of the programme. I did enjoy watching these and I did see why the directors deleted ...
Advantages: Fantastic, gripping, intense, brilliantly bad girls. Disadvantages: Gone a bit silly. A bit unrealistic. Only out once a year.
. If you?ve never seen it then you don?t know what your missing out on. BadGirls is also out on DVD and video I?m going to be buying the whole series so that I can watch it over and over again. You don?t get bored with BadGirls, but I just wish you didn?t have to wait a year between episodes. ...
Advantages: Being the first series, it's very raw and the plots are very good. Disadvantages: Hmmmm...when it ends? But hey, thank God for Sereis 2, otherwise I would be f**ked.
Ok, in case none of you know by now...and you all should know, that I am the biggest BadGirls fan in this world...and it's not because of the lesbain activites between a certain couple, I'm not that perverted!
BadGirls is a very hard-hitting drama which definitely makes Prisoner Cell Block H look like cheese. BadGirls manages to keep the script real and deals with everything that we don't see within the real prison life: bullies, affairs within inmates and the staff, the deceit we see within the staff...it's all included in the first series, which I believe is the best series...hey, you can never beat the first, right?
