Bad Boys (DVD)

Will Smith enters the world of movie magic where he plays the role of Mike Lowry, an off the rails cop who works in the Narcotics division in Miami.
His partner, Martin Lawrence who plays Marcus Bennett, is the sensible one of the two. He's married and has children etc, while Mike lives as a well off bachelor.

Unfortunately, Mike's girlfriend somehow got caught up in the drugs ring, and her body is discovered by her flatmate, Julie.
In turn, she feels that the only one that she can trust is Mike, she calls the police and insists only to speak to him, but the only problem with that was that Marcus, who originally spoke to her, said that he was Mike.

So now, this is when Mike and Marcus change circumstances to prevent any backlash on his own family.
Mike, the bachelor, has to stay with Marcus' wife and children while Marcus pretends to be Mike, and he gets to stay at Mike's lush apartment with his essential witness.

That aspect of life swapping is quite funny as Marcus regrets that he has to share his wife and family with the 'ladies man' Mike.

There are moments when Julie has to know who killed her friend and goes to a nightclub in search of the killer. But when Marcus and Mike eventually stop thier bickering and realise that Julie has disappeared, they make thier way after her only to have a shooting showdown at the music venue.
