This is an action packed sci-fi/comedy.
Doc Brown creates a time machine from a DeLorean and a flux capacitor, he uses uranium from a terrorist group and is shot at in the open scenes of the film. Marty McFly jumps into the DeLorean and accidentally sends himself blistering into 1955.
While he spends time with the 1955 Doc he inadvertently stops his parents from every dating and therefore his very existence is in danger.
Back to the future was meant to be a one of production for Robert Zemeckis and Steven Spielberg but it has turned into the best trilogy ever created. It earned Robert Zemeckis and co-writer Bob Gale Oscar and Golden Globe nominations for Best Original Screenplay of 1985.
I recommend this to every one as, it is a classic which every ones knows of.

I see you've posted this as a DVD review, but you've not mentioned the DVD features. Are there any extras? If so, what are they and are they any good? Sorry for the lower rate but there is so much more you could have said about this as it's a trilogy, what are the other films, are there extras, what makes it a collector's edition etc. If you take a look at similar reviews (rated VH) you'll see the info and detail they contain. :-)
