This is what DVDs were invented for. I don't need to buy copies of movies I can rent or download. There are only a few movies that I want to own and watch with my kids again and again. We waited a good while for the BTTF trilogy and sitting with my boys on consecutive weekends and working through these terrific stories made the wait worthwhile. Great picture quality backing up the tightest plotting of the 80s. A great sequel should expand and elaborate on the original while staying true to the movie's internal logic. Terminator 2 had it, Matrix Reloaded didn't. BTTF 2 has it in spades. Of course it helps when the original is a stone classic but you have to have a director and screenwriter fully invested in the project. Zemeckis and Gale returned for the two sequels only when they had the plot ready and their love for the characters shines through. My boys loved all three movies yelping with delight at the final surprise at the end of the third movie just as I did when I saw it in the cinema. Highly recommended.
