I fell in to a burning Wheel of Fire
Review of Babylon 5 - Season 5 DVD by baalzamon

Advantages: More of the finest sci-fi show ever made
Disadvantages: Arguably the weakest series of the 5

...one of my favourite shows, Babylon 5. I'm going to assume a certain amount of knowledge of the B5 universe, but hopefully those with no prior knowledge won't be left completely in the dark. WHAT IS BABYLON 5? Set in the middle of the 23rd century, Babylon 5 is a space station, originally set up to promote peace and facilitate trade between the various space-faring races. Throughout the 5 years chronicled in the 5 series, the station and its inhabitants ...
...Featurettes: 'Digital Tomorrow' and 'Beyond Babylon 5' Other extras: Data & Personnel Files, deleted/extended scenes and gag reel MY OPINION Whilst widely regarded as the weakest of the five seasons, series 5 is still top quality sci-fi. I'd love to know how things would have gone if the fifth series had never been in doubt, but what we have is a fitting ending to what is often referred to as the best sci-fi series ever made. To be critical, I would ... Read review

Well... you might as well complete the set...
Review of Babylon 5 - Season 5 DVD by tekaybe

Advantages: It's got established characters and a few new faces to shake things up
Disadvantages: It's not the best series of the show!

Well, this is the last of the 5 \"Babylon 5\" seasons. It was, to be honest, the worst of these, but there is an explaination for it, at least. The whole show, all 5 years, was planned in advance. As it would inevitably take 5 years or so to film, included into the plots and subplots of the story were \"backdoors\" for each of the characters in case one or other of the actors left to do other things. However, it looked as if the show would get ...
...were hurried along, so that the show could complete all the story arcs by the end of the 4th year. However, they got a 5th series, which meant they had to then extend the stories beyond what they needed to be, which meant that this series was a little bit of a let down. However, if you have watched them all - as I did - from series 1 to 4, you frankly might as well complete the set by seeing series 5!! There are no really astonishing episodes that ... Read review

  • Men In Black (Special Limited Edition) (Wide Screen)
(-) Unecessary inclusion of 4:3 ratio version. (+) Stacks upon stacks of extra features. (*)
  • Alien Vs Predator (Wide Screen) (Special Edition)
(-) a little tame on the gore and violence factor compared to the previous films! (+) great, fun movie, excellent C.G effects and loads of extras!!!!! (*)
  • X-Men DVD
(-) not entirely true to the comics/cartoons (+) good effects, good performances (*)
