Advantages: More of the finest sci-fi show ever made Disadvantages: Arguably the weakest series of the 5
...one of my favourite shows, Babylon 5. I'm going to assume a certain amount of knowledge of the B5 universe, but hopefully those with no prior knowledge won't be left completely in the dark.

Well, this is the last of the 5 \"Babylon 5\" seasons. It was, to be honest, the worst of these, but there is an explaination for it, at least.
The whole show, all 5 years, was planned in advance. As it would inevitably take 5 years or so to film, included into the plots and subplots of the story were \"backdoors\" for each of the characters in case one or other of the actors left to do other things.
However, it looked as if the show would get ... ...were hurried along, so that the show could complete all the story arcs by the end of the 4th year. However, they got a 5th series, which meant they had to then extend the stories beyond what they needed to be, which meant that this series was a little bit of a let down. However, if you have watched them all - as I did - from series 1 to 4, you frankly might as well complete the set by seeing series 5!!
