DVD Description
Three features: In 'Babe' every creature in Hoggett's farmyard knows its place in the pecking order... until an orphan piglet turns their lives upside down. In 'The Borrowers', based on the books by Mary Norton, a family of four inch high people live under the stairs of a family house occupied by, to them at least, giant sized people. In 'Casper' a doctor and his daughter are employed by the owners of a manor house to rid the place of unwanted apparitions.
Advantages: Impressive effects, Denise Richards looks good. Disadvantages: Not so good acting, in general.
....
Although the film is based upon a terrific book, the plot feels a little weak and hardly sustains your attention, especially as it drags on for a little over two hours - its probably best to watch half of it one day, then the other half the day after.
If you purchase the DVD version, there's not any really special features; sure there's scene access and stuff but little else. Having said that, it is the first two-sided DVD disc I've seen (be careful of those fingerprints).
Borrow it if you like sci-fi./action films, but don't buy it....

Babe is overjoyed until one evening the cat tells Babe that pigs are bred for human consumption and that this will never change. Babe then asks the sheepdog if humans really eat pigs when this is confirmed Babe runs away.
This is as much of the story as I can tell you without spoiling your enjoyment of this true masterpiece. This film is a bit of an emotional roller coaster one minute you’ll cry the next you’ll laugh.
This film is an excellent film for the kids and the whole family. Dare you to see whether dad has a tear in his eye.

Advantages: More realistic than other 'teen flicks' Disadvantages: Brutal, disturbing and will scare parents of teenagers.
...is a teenage boy who is obsessed with sex, but only sleeps with virgins, Casper is another boy, but he is obsessed with drugs and Jenny is an innocent who happened to sleep with Telly once, and is mighty pissed that he never spoke to her again.
The film opens with Telly and a young girl (who barely looks fourteen) sat facing each other on a bed. Telly whispers sweet nothings and then has sex with her, before dashing downstairs to tell his friend Casper all about it, explaining how she was so sweet and tight, and how he didn't think she was a virgin 'cos she moaned so much. They then go to a friends house and smoke some drugs, before the conversation gets around to sex and AIDS. One boy reckons that there can't be any such thing as AIDS as he doesn't know anyone that has had it.
The scene then changes to a group of girls talking in another house...
