Gordon off to a tee. Gordon as a character has a destiny and I hope that in the following films that this plays out to entirety. Oldman's performance in The DarkKnight is spot on.
The saddest part of the cast is the late Heath Ledger; we all know that Ledger passed way earlier this year. His input into this film is staggering. His take on The Joker is what the cinema just hasn't seen for years and I think that it is this film that Ledger will be remembered for as he effectively grounds the character and totally rebuilds him into a totally different type of villain that we haven't seen before in this genre of film. Once again The DarkKnight of Gotham is on the Streets, fighting the Joker, the most ferocious and most psychopat criminal mankind has ever seen. Once again, Gotham's superhero is facing a battle within his heart, a battle for his loved one, Rachel, which eventually will bring him to a confontation with Rachel's new boyfriend, Harvey Dent, the new DA, fighting criminal gangs tougher than ever, and to a mutual friendship.
Normally, sequels are "weaker" than the original pre-quels, well...this is the one exception confirming the rule. In my opinion, this is one movie worth loosing Your time just to watch, be it on the couch, on a laptop or wherever You are. It has everything a movie-lover would want.
