Advantages: Entertaining, well acted, keeps your attention Disadvantages: Could have been a bit longer
...really well in Wimbledon. Okay, so the role of an American tennis star might not be the most challenging, but she portrays it really well with charm and warmth. She is believable as Lizzie and displays a natural beauty and elegance in the part.
The film has many really good characters and an impressive cast list. The more minor roles are played with great aplomb and the lesser plot threads are carried along well by them. Bernard Hill (sans beard) and Eleanor Bron play Peter’s parents, Edward and Augusta, who are going through a crisis in their long marriage. They get less air time than they deserve, but they have some of the most poignant scenes in the film and are memorable characters.
Sam Neill has little to stretch him as Lizzie’s father and tennis coach, Dennis, but he performs well enough. Robert Lindsay is woefully underused as Ian...

Advantages: funny enough, good cast Disadvantages: a bit tacky in places
...Carry On Girls is often seen as one of the tackiest of the Carry Ons & indeed it is really, with the whole plot being an excuse to show lots of women in bikinis - but it is still a laugh :-)
The story is that the town of Furcombe decides to liven up the quiet season, by holding a beauty contest.
This brings out two opposing camps - the lecherous men looking forward to an eyeful (led by Sid James & Bernard Bresslaw) & the sullen feminists led by June Whitfield as the stern Augusta Prodworthy.
Kenneth Connor plays the aptly named Mayor Bumble & Patsy Rowlands is delightful as his wife, Mildred.
Although some of the film is annoyingly silly, especially the cat fight between Barbara Windsor & Margaret Nolan, it is still enjoyable....

Advantages: Stars Jake Gylanhaal brilliant actor, As good as Fight Club & Seven Disadvantages: Twists in film not as unpredictable as in Seven but still good
...The acting in this film is brilliant Jake Gylanhaal is awsome as usual Mark Ruffalo is really good also the director david fincher has done a brilliant job this film is just as compelling and thrilling as his other two master pieces seven and fight club. The story of the film is exciting and gets you thinking the twists in the film are good, they are obviously not as good twists as in films such as fight club because Zodiac is based on a true story and actual events however we are left guessing throughout the film. We know that the Zodiac was never officially caught but we are left with a pretty certain opinion of who he was and when you see the film you will realise this. We also never knew why the Zodiac carried out these killings, because the film is based on a true story and because the Zodiac was never officially caught this makes...
