Further adventures of our favourite builders. The series opens with Barry, now married to Hazel, moving into a new house and needing a set of good builders to renovate it. Barry decides he'll call on his old friends from Germany, Dennis, Oz, Moxey, Wayne and Neville. Who all come running as soon as they get the letter.
With Barrys house done, they move on and renovate a stately home in Derbyshire which is being turned into flats. Their boozing, loutish antics soon drive the local pub landlord crazy and it's not long before they're in trouble. The publican soon wises to Waynes womanising ways and, when Wayne starts to take an interest in his daughter, he's none too pleased. Wayne soon gets him back though when he discovers a certain video tape.
Finishing the renovation, they move on again, this time to Spain where the bloke they've been working for wants them to work on his villa. Accidentally ending up at the wrong villa and skinny dipping in he pool doesn't exactly get them off to a good start.
Sadly, Gary Holton, who played Wayne, died of a drug overdose before this series was finished and the final episode is dedicated to him.
Again, this is a brilliant series and defnitely lives up to the standard of the first series. A definite must for all fans.
