Advantages: good animation
Disadvantages: sometimes weak story

...Summary- The anime trinity blood is about the vatican city who sends people to kill the vampires that are terrorizing earth. One such executor Abel who is sent out on a mission meets a girl called Ester, where from there on the story of the two develops. Review- Animation- Spectacular. Starting off with amazing character designs, they incorporate computer technology, with breathtaking and wonderfully drawn settings, engrossing the audience into the trinity blood world. Story- the story about vampires and the vatican rule is both good and bad with its bad parts and then it can be really amazing. The character and story development maintains but not as great as most animes do. Overall this anime is worth a watch but can sometimes be hard to maintain a constant watch of the series. Advantages: original series, classic family entertainment, reinforces great values
Disadvantages: lack of episode continuity within the series in distribution

...for 2 series, with 22 episodes the first series, and 28 on the second. It would have been much better to have released these as series box sets for a few pounds onto the price, especially as then we would get the episodes in proper order without the skipping of some episodes in-between such as has happened here. In fact, the 2 discs, Vol 1 and Vol 2 have huge gaps in episode continuity when lumped together. I think this is very sloppy in terms of release, though it may just be the purist in me. This lack bothers me enough to lower it two stars though as I feel it really lets down the DVD release of such an iconic programme.... Read review

Advantages: Not over complicated, easy to watch

...A truly fantastic film from the master of action films Quentin Tarantino. Kill Bill takes you on a bloodthirsty whirlwind trip that only leaves you wanting more. Kill Bill Vol.1 portrays an imersive world that draws you in without detracting from the real point of the film, the central plot flowing smoothly through the picture and the understated acting making the overall feel of the film as sharp as the swords. This picture will deliver everything the trailer promised us and will leave you hungering for Vol.2. A must see for any Tarantino fan and a definate recomendation to any fan of action films, especilally those fond of Japanese style martial arts pictures. In addition to all of this the animated segment of the film allowed Kill Bill to show a particularly disturbing scene in a way that, if not tasteful, must certainly be credited... Read review
