This game has to be the best sports game of the year. with some of the best graphics the wii has ever known, probably in the top 5 for good uses of the remote and 8 mario and 8 sonic charracters in this game, this sure is worth sticking on your christmas list. what's more, you may use your Miis to play againts the mario and sonic charracters, and there are all the olympic games on this, including swimming, ping-pong and a few unlockable 'dream challenges' where you run around tracks and sky-dive as the charracters or your mii. there are loads of awards to be won, emblems to be discovered and the wii remote makes you feel like youre really there. ...

I've owned this game for little over 24hours, I'd say I know pretty much everything there is to know about the game, now that's not cos it's simple, or that it's an easy game, it's most likely cos I've played it for around 12 of the 24 hours I've owned it.
THE GAME
Well It's Athens2004, so yeah it's an Olympics game.... Not all events are included in Athens2004, so that's a downside but the main events are there.
CONTROLS
The controls are not simple, but once you have played for a while, they do come more naturally. For most events "x" and "o" are the buttons used to gain speed, or distance when throwing the javelin or shot put. When running this can be uncomfortable. For example the 400m sprint often proves difficult for me as you must hold "L1" to take your mark, then be quick off the release to make sure you get a quick ...

This games represents the olympics, it has a wide variation of sports from the common 100m sprint to the horse riding, all very enjoyable. You can any country you wish to be from the USA to Gambia, so beating your friends with an unknown coutry is all the more fun. The game supports up to 8 players at a time, so if you get some mates round and want some competitive fun this is the perfect game, to enhance your experience why not compete against each other in the champion event, completing all 25 events to see who is the real champion. The buttons in the game are easy. X and 0 to run, with L1 and R1 to do sprint starts, the analog stick is also used in events such as the discus. The problem with using X and 0 to run means that the two fingers you use become very tired after a while, especially in the swimming events, but again it just ...
