Asterix - The Collected Adventures Of Asterix (Box Set)
Family - Director: Philippe Grimond, Pino Van Lamsweerde, Paul Brizzi, Gaetan Brizzi, Pierre Watrin, Lee Payant, Ray Goossens - Classification: Universal more
Advantages: Family-friendly fun based on the classic French comic Disadvantages: Dubbed out of French, lack of DVD special features
...been completely dubbed out of French. This isn't as bad as it sounds - the speech makes sense - but it can come in a bit late sometimes, and it might confuse younger children. This film is very suitable for young children - there is no death, only people getting knocked over and the like.
There is a disappointing lack of special features on the DVD. With only a trailer, this movie deserves better.
All in all, this DVD is well worth getting - it wasn't a major box-office hit and the DVD goes very cheaply. It's a good addition to your collection....

Advantages: No need to buy the DVDs seperately. Disadvantages: You may have to save up first.
...Farscape is a most wonderful science fiction adventure with a gripping story, interesting universe and characters you just have to learn more about.
John Crichton, a young astornaught becomes lost in the far reaches of outer space with no way to communicate with earth. Lost and alone we follow his adventures in a strange and unusual part of the universe. There is humour found in the most dire situations and several edge of your seat scenes.
My favourite episode shows Chichton playing a virtual reality game in the middle of a battle zone, having to escape the virtual world before being destroyed in the real one.
This boxset is very worth the expense to fans of the series as it is cheaper alltogether rather than buying each DVD set seperately....

Advantages: Excellent viewing! Disadvantages: None I can think of
...This DVD boxset is a brilliant edition to anyone's DVD collection.
It features the three movies:
Back to the future.
Back to the future part 2.
Back to the future part 3.
All 3 movies are equally as good as eachother, and are recreated with crystal clear sound and picture. There are also loads of added extras, including deleted scenes and cast biographys.
Back to the Future tells the story of a scientist in 1980's California who invents a time machine, and with the help of a local High School studen (Michael J Fox), they embark on an adventure back in time!
Part 2 continues the story, but this time they go to the future in order to change the course of history and save them from a future life of misery.
Part 3, the final episode in the trilogy sees them go back to the western times and is full of cowby capers and laugh...
