Asia - Anthology DVD

Advantages: Owning all the Rocky films from 1 to 5!
Disadvantages: A 6th Rocky film has just come out!

...Im a fighter just like Rocky, well almost; Im a kickboxer, and when I was given this DVD box set for christmas, I reached for my jogging kit, put on my trainers and watched the first Rocky installment! It all came flooding back to me. Great stuff. These films are flawless, from the first to the last. The films are in there original state, but the audio has been buffed up to digital, making the sound fantastic to hear but not so much in sinc to the volume of the film. Advantages: great british anthology horror.
Disadvantages: none.

...i just LOVE british anthology horrors, and "doctor terror's house of horrors" is no exception. starring horror greats peter cushing and christopher lee, "dr. t's" offers a group of spine-tingling tales guaranteed to please. five men are on a train when they meet a mysterious character, dr. terror. this gentleman shows these five horrible "things to come"...or have they already happened? the ending will surprise you. out of all the segments, i personally liked these three the most: the one about the man whose house is overrun by deadly vines, the one about a young man who thinks his wife may be a vampire (but is someone else just getting rid of the competition?), and the one starring christopher lee about a critic who causes an "accident" to happen to an artist who insulted him. the artist loses his hands and takes his own life... Advantages: Being able to own all the rockys, Compact, Memorable,
Disadvantages: A little pricey, New Rocky's Jus come out

...If your a Rocky fanatic, then this is a must buy, no doubt. You will have all the films stored in one compact ultimate edition, so it's hard to lose. If you didn't like Rocky V, then like it or not its part of the package. Nonetheless, theres a nice high definition transfer, which gives it that extra bit of quality when watching it. In conclusion i think that if your going to buy it for someone as a present, then make sure they LOVE Rocky. If your going to buy it, to add to your dvd collection I suggest you be patient, because the latest installment "Rocky Balboa" will probably be released on dvd soon. You decide... Read review
