Advantages: a brilliant film, fun to watch for every generation Disadvantages: not much extras on the dvd
..., Bonnie Hunt's maternal black widow, and Joe Ranft's endearingly gluttonous Bavarian caterpillar Heimlich), A Bug's Life largely succeeds on its character development. And, true to Pixar's impeccable form, the film is layered so thickly with visual, narrative, and humorous details that it offers ample rewards with repeat viewings.

However, as the film is brilliant, the region 2DVD of A bug's Life is just OK. For a real pleasure, A Bug's Life Collector's Edition is the one to get, but so far it's only available in region 1(if I'm not mistaken)-head down to dvdboxoffice.com or play247.com to get one today!

Advantages: great extras, amazing picture quality Disadvantages: takes an age to get through everything
...they're just there to out on a show. There's a lot of humour which all ages can enjoy.

Advantages: Outstanding movie Disadvantages: Has none

One of the innovative attachments being the delightful "out-takes" added to the end of the film. The DVD has two sets of these out-takes where as I?m told the VHS cassette has one alternating version per tape. The DVD also features "Gerry?s Game" which is a delightful little PIXAR short that was also shown prior to the film...
