Advantages: High standard of acting and a fantastic plot. Disadvantages: Too long at around 130 minutes.
...Never having read the book "Dreamcatcher" by Stephen King i cannot comment about the general adaptation of the book to film. However, i can comment upon the standard of the film itself.
