Advantages: High standard of acting and a fantastic plot.
Disadvantages: Too long at around 130 minutes.

...Never having read the book "Dreamcatcher" by Stephen King i cannot comment about the general adaptation of the book to film. However, i can comment upon the standard of the film itself. Dreamcatcher stars: Morgan Freeman Thomas Jane Jason Lee Timothy Olyphant Damian Lewis Donnie Wahlberg Directer: Lawrence Kasdan The film centres on four friends who embark on an annual hunting trip in the Maine woods, in the very area a group of alien beings are infecting villagers and animals alike. The group are seperated and singled out by these beings and the friends are forced to 'save the world' using their powers of telepathy and an old friend by the name of 'Duddits' who, in a sense, is the centre of the film. The film stars Morgan Freeman who, to be honest, doesn't give a spectacular performance and at points in the film, the audience... Read review
