Being a long Steve Coogan fan naturally when i saw thsi film being advertised i was interested, the advert looked good but it went no further. The film is based on an 19th century inventor played by Steve Coogan who's dream is to be the head of a Science commity who govern his local town and has a bet with the head of that commity that he could travel around the world in 80 days, which im sure you geussed just by reading the title. Apart from that the film encounters only a couple of fighting scenes which are not terrific but overall this film has a lack of imagination and doesnt really appeal to a wide variety of film lovers. While watching the film if you havent already left or having a nap you will be impatiently wainting for this catostraphy to finish wish eventually is answered when the 2 and a half hour film ends.
