Armed And Dangerous DVD

...This really was an interesting and thought provoking film into the gun culture of North America and a study as to why the Americans are so gun crazy. Michael Moore pointed out that the Americans live in a state of fear, fear of being robbed and fear of being killed. This is not helped by the National Rifle Association encouraging people to go out and buy guns and arm themselves against any possible danger. The head of the NRA is Charlton Heston who seems to think it is commendable to not only own a gun but to use when the person wants to despite any possible dangers. Michael Moore featured the horrifying facts about the Columbine school massacre and other gun crimes where innocent children have been killed just because they found a gun in the house. Disadvantages: you sort of know how it will end

...is the rogue gang on the outside. To survive the night, two men on opposite sides of the law will have to work together to battle an enemy who doesn't follow the code of cop or criminal. This is how the plot has been advertised. I have used the official one to explain the plot it would only spoil it for those who haven't seen it if I explain how the new plot works. As I have said definitely worth getting the DVD if you haven't seen the film and see for yourself if you agree that it is a good adaptation of the old film and worth seeing. Certainly if you can remember older film you won't be bored watching the new version. After watching it on DVD I wished I had seen it at the movies. ...I loved this film. I've not seen a good western in a long time and it is about time we saw some more. You can't beat some good guy - bad guy action, smith 'n' westerns, lucky hats and obedient horses. This film is about a infamous criminal (Russel Crowe) being transported to justice (the train to yuma) by a honest rancher (ex -army -sharpshooter -Christian Bale) just trying to earn a little extra cash to keep a hold of his land and gain the respect of his son. This is a dangerous mission for any man as russel crowe's gang of theiving crooks are hot on the sheriffs tail attempting to save their leader from the strong arm of the law. Russel Crowe plays an incredable part in this film. Not only is he a lier, theif and killer he also respects Christian Bale for his actions through-out the film.
