Land Before Time 2 - Great Valley Adventure DVD

Advantages: good story, loveable characters & great sing-a-longs
Disadvantages: simple graphics, blurred colours

The Land Before Time has been made into a series of movies, each lasting about 70minutes running time. The first one was released in 1988 and the sequels about 2 years after. Now avalible to own on DVD, you can have the classic & the ultimate Dinosaur equialent of Bambi in your collection. The story follows on from the first movie where littlefoot, the longnecked dinosaur, is orphaned and has to battle preadtors and the elements in order to find the great valley. He and his newely made friends live together in this film under the watchful eye of their parents, or grandparents in the case of littlefoot. As for the general quality of the graphics and animation, I'd say it was quite a let down. It's not really been improved very much from the old Video tape format. United Artists fought against it (among other things, they were unable to come up with an ad campaign that explained the meaning of the word) and Allen compromised on naming the film after the central character three week's before the film's premiere.  One scene cut from the film is a fantasy sequence of Annie and Alvy visiting hell. Battle Royale 2 - Worth the Money

Advantages: Interesting story
Disadvantages: May be a bit too violent + subtitles are poorly translated

The sequel to the amazing 'Battle Royale'. This Film is also amazing, but not as good as the first. The story is great and is of the same quality, but i feel that it isn't as interesting as the first was. This time, the students involved don't kill each other, they are given guns and camouflage and sent to eliminate a group of 'terrorists', led by none other than Shuya Nanahara, the main character of the first film. This DVD is worth every penny, and can also be watched over and over again, every time as good as the last. Battle Royale 2 is also surprisingly funny like its predecessor, although to a lesser extent as the sequel has a slightly more serious tone than the first. ...
