the same timeless charm, and I prefer this over these new digital techniques that have been employed in Disney?s? Pixar movies any day.
As with lots of other Disney films, there is a digital remake, which boosts the quality of the audio and the picture. This is not necessary, but may appeal to children more, especially those who love films created with modern animation techniques.
The new DVD celebrates the 25th anniversary, and is a must have for collectors. I myself have the original VHS in my collection, and I love it.

Being a mother of two I have a very busy life, if it not my little girl wanting something you can bet you last pound it's my 1 year old son wanting something. My little girl has lots and lots of toys but as soon as i get my son to sleep about 1pm in the afternoon my little girl always want's to play with the noises toy she has, so yesterday afternoon when I got my son to sleep I put on THE FOX AND THE HOUND.
I don't agree with sticking children in front of the T.V just to keep them quite but my son needed a good sleep and i just needed my little girl to be quite just for a few hours.
As the film just started I thought I would just do some tidying up, you know put the toys back in the toy box, and clear the table from dinner, well i got the toys in the toy box and that was it, before i knew it i was sit in front of the T.V watching ...
Advantages: Amazing value for money, great DVD and impressive looking Transformers figures !!! Disadvantages: Hard to find at a reasonable price ... it's become a collectors item (which pushes up the price)

DVD Description
A box set featuring 'The Fox And The Hound' in which a fox cub called Tod and a puppy named Copper become great friends, not knowing that they are supposed to be natural enemies. As they grow up and outside conflicts develop, their friendship faces a series of tests that threaten to pull them apart, 'Dumbo'is the classic tale of a young circus elephant who is ridiculed because of his large ears. Dumbo is taken away from his mother and separated from the rest of the circus animals. He is befriended by Timothy Q. Mouse who persudes him to make the most of what he has got. And when he learns to fly he soon becomes the circus' main attraction! and 'The Aristocats' in whic Madame Adelaide Bonfamille, the eccentric millionairess, passes away and leaves her fortune to her cat, Duchess and her three kittens. Unfortunately Edgar her greedy butler has other ideas and catnaps Duchess and her kittens, takes them to the countryside and abandons them. There they meet Thomas O'Malley, the alley cat, and he offers to help them to return home...
