He's a ginger-haired kid in a parka, but don't underestimate this little hell raiser; Angry Kid is the product of Aardman Animations but couldn't be further from the amiable antics of Wallace & Gromit. If he's not stuffing himself with chocolate and fizzy drinks until he's sick, Angry Kid is ramming a cotton bud up his nose or relentlessly picking on his little sister. Originally played on the Internet and digital television, these (roughly) one-minute sketches are sarcastic, irreverent and definitely not aimed at kids!
Advantages: great laugh Disadvantages: not for the faint hearted
...I found this dvd so funny! The kid is so naughty. I would kill him if he were mine. He is always horrible to his sister, who happens to be very clever. (sounds like bart simpson). He is also discusting. He does things like sniffing his sticky finger and gagging on it! He hates school and homework and loves playing pranks on people, especially his little sister. My whole family loved this dvd and i think it is more aimed at teenagers because they can relate to it. I think my son would love to be this boys friend. lol. His dad is very tolerant of him even though he winds him up so much! Don't see his mum in it?
Extra features include 3 foreign episodes, angrykid (the directers cut) Season 2 Teaser Trailer

Advantages: some funny ones Disadvantages: most not
...on somebody's mobile phone or even on BBC 3. This is a collection of the first 25 of them and the total play time is only 62 minutes so the value for money is not great. I expected a lot from this selection and I was a little dissapointed. True, there are a few gems (Bone, Horror, Chips) but I have to say that the majority were really not that funny. The special features, while limited to an inside look, a comic report and a handful of trailers, are actually entertaining and surprisingly informative. For example, did you know that Angrykid is not, as I had assumed, plastacine, but a man in a rubber mask. Well I found it interesting. Overall, not the best DVD purchase I have made but I am looking forward to series2 as it looks to be an improvement. There will be an episode list at a later date....
