Adam Sandler has shown a lot of talent in films such as Big Daddy, The Wedding Singer and my personal favourite Happy Gilmore. This film however will be added to the other list of Sandlers films which includes Little Nicky and the Dreadfull Mr. Deeds.

***Plot***
At the begining of the film we find out that Dave (Sandler) has a problem with showing affection in public, which makes itself important at the end of the film. It starts by showing Dave, who is a very calm, mild mannered man, boarding a plane to go to a meeting with his boss. While on the plane he asks an air stewerdess for a set of headphones which then esculates to him being thrown off the plane for 'assaulting' the lady, which he of course didn't do, this is by far the strangest scene in the film but in essential as it sets the scene for the rest of the film. The case go's to court and the judge sentences Dave to an anger management course with Buddy (Nicholson). After one session he gets into a fight at a restaurant while with a fellow member of the course. The judge in this case is willing to not put Dave in prison if he takes part in an intensive course with Buddy, which involves him moving into Daves flat. This is basically it, they then spend the rest of the film getting into 'hilarious' (pah!) Predicaments while attempting to cure Dave's 'anger'. I don't want to spoil it too much just in case you do want to watch it, but then Dave and his girlfiend Linda split up and is then seen having a meal with Buddy, what are his intentions!!
The best bit, and i have to say the only bit that made me laugh, is when Buddy forces Dave to confront his childhood bully, who happens to now be a monk, cue a very funny fight scene! Another good bit is when the two lesbian porn stars who also attend the course get a little intimate, but hey, i'm, a man! The worst, single, scene has to be at the begining when Dave gets thrown of the plane, very unbelievable and not particularly funny.
Overall it is an OK film, you will probably want to finish watching it if you start, but you will probably be a little disapointed at the end as there is a slight twist which made me feel very, for the want of a better word, cheated. sandler is his usual funny self and i feel he is let down by the script and writing. Nicholson really freaked me out in this film, i have never been a true fan but the performances have always been watchable, i felt this performance was unnecessarily creepy, and quite boring.
In conclusion if there is nothing else showing/available then watch this film, but i wouldn't go out of my way to watch it
