Advantages: Its a girly dvd!!! Disadvantages: Its not a mummy dvd!!!
...As i have said before in a previous review ,my daughter is only five, so being "a little princess!", she loves anything to do with dancing, sparkling and pink things. The dvd i will review luckily has all three!!!

...I am not sure how I first came across Angelinaballerina...But It was quite recent...
My Daughter who is 3 has been dancing and prancing around for months,wanting to be a ballerina..
My sister saw this video and thought it was just the right thing for her....
So we were hooked!!!!!!

She has a few freinds on the way Namely Alice who is her best freind(they fall out lots!!!)

Background - AngelinaBallerina is the wanna' be prima ballerina character created by Katherine Holabird.
The idea for the characters came from her experiences as a mother of two young daughters and as a nursery school teacher. She says most of the stories are inspired by family experiences and situations.
The first book was published way back in 1983 and she was joined by Helen Craig who provided the beautiful illustrations that have become part of the charm of Angelina.
Upon animating the first book "The big performance", recently won three oppenheim toy portfolio platinum awards for the 150 minute television special.
