As with most of the DVD's in the fifth series this box set contains 4 episodes namely E10 to E13, which are seperated onto 2 DVD's.
E10 - The Test.
This is a bit of a wierd episode as it is told from start to finish as normal, but the character interaction is dealt with by fade in / out as the story moves along. For example, Trance is at the bar and then dylan would fade in, interact and the fade out.
The episode basically tells the story of a Paradine who is 'murdered' and all the crew, apart from Doyle are accused of the murder. As the plot moves along and each crew member is accused and cross examined by 'the stranger' who came from the route of ages...

Advantages: Cartoon entertainment for kids Disadvantages: not as funny as the original, bad graphics, poor comedy
...' stories; 1. Neighbourly Bean, 2. Nurse, 3. Dead Cat, 4. Super Trolley, 5. Magpie, 6. Cat Sitting, & 7. The Bottle. By 'smashing' i think they must be refering to the clumsiness of the Beanmeister and not the quality of the comedy. Although the soundtrack is fairly impressive, especailly for something which appears to be aimed at kids. The ochestral music makes up most of the dialog for all the episodes as Mr Bean just mumbles and grunts every now and then. However other characters do speak for example Irma Gobb (mr beans romatic interest) and also the post man and other neighbours. Teddy however doesnt say anything, but then again why would he?
Graphics are very basic and they've made his head way too big for his body. He looks like an orange on a toothpick! However i'm sure this is done on purpose and to appeal to kids. As the enlarged head...

Advantages: kids like it Disadvantages: is nothing compared to the original
...a model aeroplane, why?, well it's only because he saw some boys in the park with their planes and Bean being Bean thinks he can do better. A very basic and boring episode, again filled with slapstick comedy and portrays Mr Bean as very childish.
3. Royal Bean - He manages breaks his favourite drinking cup. It's a tea mug with a picture of the Queen`s face on it. So he decides to get another one and visits london city only to find trouble and ends up being cased into buckingham palace where he meets her majesty herself. An okay episode if your a child, nothing side splitingly funny though.
4. Young Bean- set in a daydreamy format Mr Bean is sorting out Mrs Wickets jumble in her loft and he remembers being a child. Another episode that was painful to sit through, no real original comedy.
5. In the Pink - This animated episode sees Mr...
