Andromeda - Season 3 (Box Set)

Advantages: 4 Episodes on a two DVD set.
Disadvantages: Lack of extra and a bit expensive

...The voyages of Captain Dylan Hunt and the crew of the Andromeda Ascendant are continued as they try to re-energise the Andromeda and find their way out of the Seefra system. As with most of the DVD's in the fifth series this box set contains 4 episodes namely E10 to E13, which are seperated onto 2 DVD's. E10 - The Test. This is a bit of a wierd episode as it is told from start to finish as normal, but the character interaction is dealt with by fade in / out as the story moves along. For example, Trance is at the bar and then dylan would fade in, interact and the fade out. The episode basically tells the story of a Paradine who is 'murdered' and all the crew, apart from Doyle are accused of the murder. Advantages: Box set offering half a season per set

...I've bought 2 Xena box sets and a single DVD of the final episode and I thing they're all great, the advantages of the box sets being that you can get all you favourite episodes in one go and have fun with a Xena marathon. I bought the Season Three Box set one, Season Five box set one and the Final episode directors cut. Both the box sets had my favourite episodes from my favourite seasons, epsiodes such as "The Debt parts 1 & 2" in the S3 set and "Purity", "Back in the Bottle" in the S5 set makes up the entire "Chin" storyline. Plus great S5 eps such as "Chakram", "Lyre, Lyre Hearts Afire" and "Little Problems" make the box sets a great deal. The Season Finale directors cut, is a stand-alone release and features the last two eps as a tv-movie and has great special features such as commentaries from directors and cast, image...
