Advantages: Funny in places, good casting, easy to use dvd
Disadvantages: Just like Ugly Betty

...Good film, casting is done well, but it's just like the all new American Sitcom, Ugly Betty that was all to unfunny. However The Devil Wears Prada, is much funnier, and well worth a watch, although it seems to be predictable in places, especially if you like predicting the ends of romance and business trying to live hand in hand, you know what I mean? I'm sure you do, however, the characters are just, I presume, like what you would find in the fashion industry in real live, trying to be uber slim, trying to outcompete and get to the top of their career ladders. In this we see Andy, Andrea (played by Anne Hathaway) want to become a journalist, and gets the job that a million gilrs would kill for, working for the fashion magazine, as Mirana Priestly's Assistant (Meryl Streep), The rest of the film makes sense and in some parts... Advantages: tense, griity sea drama
Disadvantages: they never survived despite my wishing them to.

...The Perfect Storm starring George Clooney and Mark Wahlberg was a well advertised and well reviewed film. I never managed to see the film when it hit the cinemas despite my best efforts. So when it came out on video/dvd I snapped it up. As I settled in for the night with my crisps, popcorn and the like, I almost felt like I was actually in the cinema. The film is based on a true story, and shows the bravery of all those who work at sea. The film is created with some excellent effects, to recreate the tension at sea in a storm. The fishermen of ocurse just want to earn a living, but they just can't seem to catch enough fish to make a good one. So the captain of the 'Andrea Gail' (George Clooney) decides it's time to go to further afield to catch the biggest and best fish. Despite evryones warnings they continue in their quest...
