...This is a fantastic and quirky film from start to finish. It is set in 1971. Johnny Depp plays journalist Raul Duke and Benicio Del Toro plays his insane attorney Dr. Gonzo. Both of them embark on a journey to Las Vegas to cover the mint 400 race in the Nevada desert. The supplies they take on their drug- fuelled odyssey are a salt shaker half full of cocaine, fifty pellets of mescallin, a sheet of sunshine acid, a quarter full bottle of rum and a pint of raw ether. Along the way to Las Vegas they pick up a hitch hiker and start seeing bats flying around in the sky. (Must be the drugs). Once they’re in Las Vegas they take more drugs and keep taking drugs until they go home, basically. ...Fear and loathing in Las Vegas starring is one of the funniest films I’ve seen. It’s a tale of the effects of drug taking and alcohol drinking. The story starts with the two main characters driving down a highway acting strangely “I feel a little light headed…ahhhhh…maybe you should drive” “Then the car was surrounded by bats… Holy Jesus what are these god damn animals? Fucking flying pigs!” they pull over when the car stops we find that the car boot is full of drugs some of which have already been consumed “ Wait! we can’t stop here this is bat country!” This is where I stop and let you watch the movie for yourself because “ There’s a machine in the sky, Some kind of huge electric snake!” . Advantages: Great storyline's, and special guest appearances
Disadvantages: Waiting for Season 2!! Come on already...

...'s need whales (big spenders), and there's no one better than Sam Marquez (Vanessa Marcil) to lure them to the Montecito, and take care of their every whim. There's also Mary Connell (Nikki Cox), the special events coordinator; Nessa Holt (Marsha Thomason), the pit boss; and Mike Cannon (James Lesure), an MIT engineering graduate that makes more money as the head valet. Under Ed's watchful eye they tackle cheats, mobsters, lover's spats, and a whole lot more. I have to say that when I first started watching the show when it was aired on Sky One, I didn't think that I could get into it. But now it's a different kettle of fish. I enjoyed it that much that I actually went and bought it on DVD, and now find myself awaiting the long overdue Season 2. The show features lots and lots of special guest appearances.
