This is a film made in 1999 by Warner Bros. the director is Harold ramis from a screenplay by Peter Tolan, Ken Lonnergan and Harold Ramis. The film is set in the US and is a part spoof mafia film and a spoof on therapists.
Great film. If you like the way Billy Crystal delivers his humour, the way Robert DeNiro can switch from serious roles to comedy or just well scripted funny movies I recommend this movie to you. Robert DeNiro won oscars for 1974 best supporting actor The Giodfather (part 2) and 1980 Best actor Raging Bull. There is a good spoof Godfather scene in this movie.
My two favourite scenes are the Consiglieri scene near the end in which Crystal tries to act like a mobster. Also the scene in the Miami hotel which mentions oedipus, Freud and Paul Vitti's mother. (I won't spoil it but the dialogue is fantastic)
If you want a movie that is full of funny dialogue and should not be taken too seriously then rent this movie and have a laugh at it!

I could watch it again (and have done) and still laugh out loud.
The only down side is that Lisa Krudow will always be the dizzy one from friends in my eyes!
The film is produced by Billy Cristal and so he has obviously had a big input to the whole thing and it shows with his dry type of worldly wise wit.
The price of the dvd varies and because mine was a present from my wife I can't be sure how much it cost sorry! But I think you can get it for £10.99 at Woolworths. running time is 99 mins

I would watch this for Robert DeNiro and Lisa Kudrow but I really cannot stand Billy Crystal - he is so smarmy! Gwen :)

I never saw the original write of this so can't say whether your re-write is a great improvement or not. It's a good opinion, but I would have liked to see a little bit about the plot, and the characters played by each person i.e. are they realistic characters, are they believable...etc. Also, you say that Lisa Kudrow's character was weak - was this due to her being cast in the role or was it just that the character was weak?
Please don't take this as criticism because it isn't, it's just that having only recently started on Ciao myself, I've noticed that you need certain things in your ops to get a VH rating. If you decide to re-write this again please let me know and I'll happily re-rate it for you.
