Wanna second slice of American Pie? Well you can have it although may I stress that there is NO PIE IN THIS FLIK!!! AHHHHHHHH!
I have to say that I am a massive fan of the original American Pie and I defo wasn't going to miss out on this one, so the second day it was on at my local cinema I hopped down and caught it and BOY WAS I IMPRESSED! I admit, I've now watched American Pie more than 3 times and I'm not joking, I love it and I'm sure I'm not on my own there!
I think the most embarrasing situation I've ever had to face is watching the original American Pie with my parents! BUT you will all be glad to know that it actually turned out ok! They both laughed all the way through the film and they never made me feel uncomfortable, my two sisters one of 12 and the other of 6 but bearing in mind I watched this a few years back now, both adored the film too and so did all my mates, does anybody out there NOT like American PiE!?
After American Pie was released there were many more American teen comedies released, most of which were all flops but some were generally ok, but nothing, NOTHING compared to 'THE' AMERICAN PIE! Lately there has been a spate of SEQUELS too, we have had 'Hannibel' 'Scary Movie 2' and also 'Rush Hour 2' I personally haven't watched any of these but I've been told with the exception of 'Rush Hour 2' that they weren't that good sequels, but then came along AMERICAN PIE 2 and oh was I excited!
Onto the film itself though now and oh WOW am I going to enjoy writing this op! For any sad individuals out there that haven't a clue about what I'm gabbling
on and on about, American Pie 2 is a sequel to the original of which was all about a group of American students who were about to leave school, 'GRADUATE'. The story led a massive issue of 'GETTING LAID' and all the highs and lows on the way of finally 'GETTING THERE' if you get what I meen!?
American Pie 2 is set after 1 year of college, all the group from the first flik are in it again and after all splitting up and going there own seperate ways they are reunited during the holidays, this brings a lot of fun, emotions and memories back together.
The same characters star in this flik and most of them are the same actors as well, all of them are in it, from Stifler to Nadia! As I mentioned before, the group re-unite in their holidays and after being banned from having any parties at Stifler's like they usually did they all head off to a holiday house for the summer.
This is where things start to begin, remember Jim? The one with the web cam!? Well he recieves a postcard from Nadia saying that she will be with him again soon and that she is coming to say, Jim knowing that he really needs some LOVING advice realises that the only person he can get help from is his one and only bed partner, Michelle so off Jim goes to, you guessed it, BAND CAMP!
Blunt Michelle enjoys telling Jim that he truly 'SUCKED' big time in bed so she decides to give him some advice that will change his love life FOREVER! With Michelle being at Band camp most of the time and Jim being at the holiday home, we see a lot of meeting up which means fun and laughter and I promise you won't be dissapointed...
As for Kevin, remember him? He has missed Vicky his girlfiend, but now ex girlfriend very much and although he seems to have tried to get on with his life he deep down inside still loves her, ~ It's so obvious! However when they meet up we notice that Vicky is over Kevin and has a new partner, well maybe not partner but at least a date for the big party that is going to be held very soon at the holiday house...
Then there is Finch, the one that reckons he is in love with Stiflers mum! Remember the pool table incident!!?? Well, she only appears in this one right at the end making a brief appearance, in American Pie 2 Finch has become even funnier yet he STILL has the same mates!? He really doesen't fit in at all! Finch has been in Japan and from there he has learnt that yoga and meditation are all he needs in his stable life to gain brilliant orgasms! He is saving all his spiritual energy in the hope that Stiflers mum is going to visit....
Do you also remember Oz the lacrosse player who hooked up with choir bird, Heather!? They are still together in this flik and although they are still going strong, Oz is at the holiday house all summer whilst Heather is in France taking part in a study trip, this means a long distance relationship is on the cards, we see and hear interesting phone calls and temptations from the opposite sex...
There is also Sherman, who in this flik STILL calls himself the 'Sherminator' as in the 'Terminator' He strongly believes he can use this to pull!
There is also Vickys best mate, the love doctor as I call her, Jessica. Again she is making harsh rules and decisions to do with others love lives...
Stifler is again the 'full of sh*t' big gob who makes some extra impact on the film, he also stars with his younger brother who is now a young teenager.

Then there are some extra characters just to finish the film off! Firstly to help raise cash for paying the rents of the holiday house and booze etc, the guys really need to get a summer job so they do, they end up painting and working on a house owned by two women, just to liven things up the 2 woman pretend to be lesbians, this leads to lots of action and hilariously funny things! ~ You may have seen some of the TV adverts!
Enough about the plot, characters and what happens though, without giving away the finniest parts of the movie WATCH OUT FOR THE FOLLOWING:
1. A superglue tube 2. Parents turning up (Right at the beginning) 3. The 'up the ass' trumpet
There are many more things to look out for but I don't want to give them away!
The characters, the film, the actors and the props are all fantastic and this for me will mpst probably be the comedy of the year, go see it now if you haven't already!
May I also say that the Soundtrack looks and sounds superb, it has Blink182 in it as well!
Before I end my opinion on this highly classed film I just want to mention that you have to be up for a laugh to watch this and I highly stress that you should see the original AMERICAN PIE first!
