My mates had been nagging me to watch this film. They said it was the best they had seen and boy were they right. After a few weeks of nagging I decided to push the boat out and buy it on DVD and I am glad I did. Within the first ten minutes I found my eyes glued to the screen. The movie is simply fantastic. It is about a man who has very strong views and when I say strong views I mean really strong views on the black society in America. So much so that when he catches a black youth trying to steal his car he breaks this guys face in half literally and this is in the first five minutes. To cut a long story short because trust me I could talk about this film all night he goes to prison and realizes that he is nothing compared to the people in there. He comes out a changed man but he comes out to find his brother (played by Edward Furlong you know the kid out of Terminator) following in his footsteps. He is part of the racist gang in the Town. I am going to leave it there cos I don't want to spoil the story. If you see just one film this year make sure it is this. I have seen no better and I have seen quite a few films. It is compelling viewing and you don't know what is going to happen next. Go see it. The DVD includes deleted scenes, Theatrical Trailer and a list of Cast and Crew and descriptions with what they have been in. The Running Time is 114 minutes approx and there are 33 chapters. Maxim Had this to say about it "A Stunning, powerful assault on the senses. It's one you must see, two mesmerising performances." Rolling Stone says "Explosive...Norton gives a blistering brilliant performance." As you can see nearly everyone thinks it is good and the DVD quality gives it all the more atmosphere.
