American History X is a brilliant film, one of my favourites. It studies racism in America, and unlike most films, it looks at both sides of the story instead of just saying "racism is wrong" without justifying the statement or looking at why the problem arises. The film is sort of split into two halves, the first half are the arguments for racism, and the second half the arguments against it after Norton comes out of jail and realises he no longer agrees with what he's been doing.
I found the film to be very moving, Edward Norton is excellent and so is Edward Furlong, his little brother (The kid in Terminator 2). There is a lot of action to keep you interested, you should also find you're still thinking about the issues after the film is over. I would recommend this film to anyone, it is original, well made, and definately worth a watch.
