...and the film shows what he does to achieve respect and love from people who are in his life. It shows where Forest has been in America and when he goes off to fight in the war and basically highlights how he makes a difference in people’s lives. It really touches your heart when you see how people react to Forest and that he respects everyone and would do anything to be helpful and this may mean risking his life. In parts of the film it does get very serious and in other parts it has you laughing. I bought this film about a year ago and it cost me about £8.99 it was a DVD and had a bonus disk in it which included directors, producers and actors comments on the film. Really interesting. If I was you I would go out and buy this film on DVD form because it is something to collect and watch all the time. Thanks. Karl... Read review

...progresses Forest grows up, and we hear about his meeting with the President of the United States Of America, becoming a top runner. All this does not change him, and in the end he still has one love Jenny. This is an excellent film, with humour, it is really worth watching over and over again.... Read review

...Forest Gump, when I think of this film I remember the famous sayings ‘Life is like a box of chocolates because you don’t know what you are going to get next’ and ‘Stupid is stupid does’. This film stars Tom Hanks who tells his life story to any stranger that will listen, what a guy, what a life, he may be naive, but he has achieved goals ordinary folk dream off. He had done nearly everything been involved in wars, been table tennis champion, had a successful computer company, ran around America, met the president of the United States of America, but still he comes home to his sick mum. His success has not changed him, neither has his feelings for his child hood friend Jenny. Jenny and Forest were best friends and when they grow up, their lives took different turns, she went down the wrong path using drugs... Read review
