...Amazing, that’s the first thing I have to say about this film, it is AMAZING!!!!, when I went to see this at the watershed down by the Bristol docks, I was amazed. Although at first I found it hard to read the subtitles and watch what was going on, it eventually got easier and you did It without even realising it.
This film is based around a Chinese warrior who gives his sword to an emperor but then it gets stolen and a whole marshal arts style war unfolds from that.
The fighting is amazing and some times quite amusing, one thing I did find very amusing about this film was the fact that the people enjoyed flying along the roofs a lot.
The film has a great story line and follows if begging to end flawless and not losing the plot what so ever.
This is an excellent film and well worth the watch, I will personally be buying when...

...There aren't many crouching tigers and the dragon?? Well it was very well hidden I can give you that, but what an epic! The winner of 4 oscars is now available on DVD for those unfortunate enough to have missed it out when it was on the big screen.
The film is directed by Ang Lee and co-written by James Schamus and is a truly epic film of great proportions. Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon was so good and on so many levels as it serves as an historical epic, an martial-arts flick, a tale with fantastic fight scenes(choreographed by Yuen Wo Ping of Matrix fame),a story of magic and a story of revenge
Set during the Qing dynasty, 19th century, the film follows the warriors Li Mu Bai (Chow Yun-Fat) and Yu Shu Lien (Michelle Yeoh. These two love each other but keep their feelings to themselves and in turn deny their love.
