The boxset includes 4 DVD's, which includes the complete series 1 and another 4 DVD's which includes the complete series 2. SERIES 1 Series 1 boasts an impressive 13 episodes, which follows the day to day antics of 7 workers in Dusseldorf, Germany. In series one, we meet, the "Magnificent Seven", composed of Barry (Timothy Spall),Dennis ( Tim Healy), Neville ( Kevin Whately) , Oz( Jimmy Nail),Wayne( Gary Holton), Bomber ( Pat Roach ) and Moxey (Christopher Fairbank) . Series 1, Episode 1 If I were a Carpenter - Oz,Dennis and Neville make their way to Dusseldorf, only problem is , they are all brickies, yet they are only looking for 2 brikies. Advantages: Adventure, action, suspense, origional.
Disadvantages: Plotlines have been known to stink

...tapes, I also own series 1+2+3 on the DVD box sets, this series is ideally suited for DVD viewing. Episodes which play in a grand story arc can be watched back to back, allowing those minor and insignificant things that allow future events to take place, to be noticed. Yet due to the nature of the writing of this TV series, there are many episodes that can be watched alone, which bring to light many mini adventures of their own. Though there had been much confusion as to particular release dates of the box sets, problems were eventually sorted out. The only problem was that because series 1 DVDs had never been released individually, the boxes and DVD content was arranged especially for the box set. This didn’t allow for extras. Advantages: Awesome episodes - a classic t.v. sitcom produced to be as the original was

...leg from the morge where he brought it home from one of his classes to write an essay on it. He decides to strap it to the front of his car instead in the 1st episode! The DVD is a simple set up and plays striaght on to the episodes, you can select play all, or view one by one. It contains the whole of series one of the young ones. The episodes are as follows; 1. Demolition. This is the first one ever and we see an intro duction to all the characters, including the landlord who has various other roles throughout the series. The basic plot appart from setting up and introducing characters is that the guys are living in their accomodation they have done for some time when one day they recieve a letter from the council informing them that their house is to be demolished. Naturally Vyvyan throws a tantrum and decides to beat them to the job... Read review
