DVD Description
Following 1999's Oscar-nominated period piece TOPSY-TURVY, acclaimed filmmaker Mike Leigh returns to the familiar terrain of modern, working-class London with ALL OR NOTHING. Yet another bittersweet slice-of-life drama conceived in Leigh's now legendary improvisational style, ALL OR NOTHING follows a group of dysfunctional families living in a London housing project who seem to have lost any glimmer of optimism and hope. Phil Bassett (Timothy Spall) works as a cab driver, while his wife Penny (Lesley Manville) holds a job as a clerk in a Safeway. Their two kids, Rachel (Alison Garland) and Rory (James Corden), are overweight and friendless. Nearby, Ron (Paul Jesson) and Carol (Marion Bailey) drink themselves into oblivion every night, while their sex-charged daughter Samantha (Sally Hawkins) attempts to conquer every boy on the block. Next door to them, Penny's coworker Maureen (Ruth Sheen) watches over her daughter, Donna (Helen Coker), who has been impregnated by her bitter, abusive boyfriend. In typical Leigh fashion, each character trudges through the muck of everyday existence, until a minor revelation sparks an understanding that brings hope to their sour lives. Featuring impeccably realised performances by the ensemble cast--most notably Spall and Manville--Leigh's film pays tribute to the exasperating institution of family.

...This John Cena Dvd had all the hype of being a great dvd and one must to buy for a John Cena fan. At the time i bought this Dvd i was a huge John Cena fan and i made a big mistake not looking for reviews on the internet or checking what others thought of this dvd.
I bought this dvd to a shock this was poor a dvd with john cena mostly rapping nothing really intresting, this was like a repeat of everything i had seen on WWE tv already.
The dvds only plus point was probally Cena himself taking us through the dvd it self with lame jokes.
If you are a cena fan then dis dvd is not a must its a rip of for your money, this dvd was not what i expected it had 1 decent match which had cena vs the undertaker.
Apart from that the DVD was one i would not watch again ever and one i wish i could sell and get rid of!...

...The Mummy is an outstanding DVD. The film is great, similar to Indiana Jones films but with loads of impressive effects. This film has everything. It is an action/adventure but is also funny and scary. Overall it’s great fun. The commentary lets you know that this is what the film makers where aiming for and they did a great job. The DVD in itself is excellent. The quality is brilliant but above all the extra features really make it stand out. The extra features show in depth how all the special effects were done which is really interesting and I think that knowing this makes the film more impressive, knowing that half the time the cast were acting against nothing. This DVD is the best region 2 disc that I have found and should be in everyone’s DVD collection. Worth getting just to show off the potential of DVD....

Advantages: Funny from start to finish Disadvantages: if you are unfamiliar with Kevin Smiths work alot will go over your head.
...Kevin Smith, The creator of such memorable charachters as Jay and Silent Bob, Brodie Banks and Holden McNeal and the ones that started it off Dante and Randall. This is his second DVD to follow up on his successful debut "stand up" DVD. Not an out and out stand up comic, Kevin Smiths timing, delivery and punchline is spot on. On this two Disc DVD, the writer / producer of many classic films answers questions from students all over the states and on disc two the UK about his work, his life, his inspirations and his comedy. There are a few extra's on the DVD itself, nothing too memorable but the show more than makes up for it. With a special guest apperance from Jason Mewes (Jay of "Jay and Silent Bob") this is a must have for all Kevin Smith fans. The only downside to the DVD is that if you are unfamiliar with Kevin Smiths work alot...
