...made this film more family friendly, seeing as it?s a Christmas film and Christmas is about family, it almost feels like they?ve sort of missed the point.
Overall I?d recommend this film to anyone, like all films it has it?s negative aspects but when you weigh up the positives with the negatives, the positives far outweigh the negatives. This is simply a great romantic comedy which revolves around different aspects of love. It?s extremely funny throughout and will make you feel all warm and fuzzy after watching it!

Advantages: A beautiful work of art Disadvantages: A slow and confusing film
...The synopsis of ?It?s All About Love? reads very much like that of any other science fiction film. In the year 2021 the world is on the brink of meltdown; all over the planet people are dropping down dead in the street due to an unspecified heart complaint, in Uganda civilians are rising from the ground and flying, and in New York it?s snowing in July. Against this backdrop of cosmic disturbance a young couple are meeting to sign their divorce papers. John (Joaquin Phoenix) a literature professor in Poland and Elena (Clare Danes) a world famous ice skater now based in New York, have let distance and circumstance tear them apart. What is meant to be a two hour stopover to sign some papers turns into a week of intrigue and peril as John realises there are sinister forces at work in Elena?s life and in trying to save her simultaneously...

Advantages: Something to watch if there's nothing else on! Disadvantages: Quite a few!
...All the Boys Love Mandy Lane is a movie that was released earlier this year, and was directed by Jonathan Levine. Despite having a quite ridiculous title, the trailer to the movie actually looked quite good, so I decided to watch it out of interest. I'd barely heard of any of the actors involved in the film, so even though the trailer looked fairly good, I wasn't expecting too much of a good thing.
The movie centres of a group of teenagers who drive out to a family ranch in the middle of nowhere, for a weekend of partying, drink, drugs and pretty much anything else. Among the group is Mandy Lane (Amber Heard), a quiet, well mannered, all round good girl, with looks to die for. There's only one reason that the other males in the group have come on the weekend break .. and that's to try their luck with Mandy Lane.
