Advantages: A classic, very imaginative, not too long Disadvantages: Misses out quite a lot that was in the book
A really cute Disney classic based on the book by Lewis Carroll!
Advantages - much more child-friendly than the book! If you aren't aware of the plot, it centres around a young girl called Alice who sees a white rabbit escaping down a rabbit hole. She jumps in after it and enters a crazy unknown world full of weird and wonderful characters. Much confusion follows, leading to a dramatic build-up and happy ending :) Visually stimulating and much easier to grasp when the images are in front of you rather than trying to imagine them from the book. The film is loyal to the book and includes scenes with the rabbit-hole chase, Tweedledum and Tweedledee and the Queen of Hearts. It's not too long a film, around an hour and a half. Special features of the DVD are obviously limited, with the film being so old, but an effort has been made. There ...
Advantages: Back to her folkier route, fantastic lyrics and singing voice. Disadvantages: A couple of bad tracks, not her strongest album to date.
the guitar at a late age of 16. Bearing in mind that a year later, she was writing songs accompaniment with it. I thought she would have played it for a lot longer. Jewel managed to get a scholarship at the very prestigious 'Interlochen Arts Academy' in Michigan and studied operatic voice. She began committing to song writing at the age of 17. Jewel is also a poet and has released books, as well as an actress. One very impressive lady.
Due to her outstanding talent, she has received 3 'Grammy Awards' nominations and her first album; 'Pieces of You' became one of the biggest selling albums of all time - by going platinum 12 times!

I am a huge disney fan however up until last weekend I had never seen AliceinWonderland. However, I had a birthday last weekend and my other half bought me it. I think I had always been put off by the chesire cat - it just never seemed that cute! Well i watched this film on Sunday and I must say it is fantastic. Theres plenty of action and the film isnt too long unlike many of todays new disney films, it should keep any child/adults attention for the entirety of the film! Not only this, my other half got this film from Virgin Megastore in Coventry who were selling it at only £10. I don't know if this was a special offer or something but everywhere I've looked on the internet, its like £14+!
Its a great film anyway and well being a primary teacher, I found that not many of my students had seen it. Its a beautiful disney classic ...
