The film is based on Ali in his pomp (1964-1974), And a lot is fitted into the two- and- a- half- hours of film. We get Cassius Clay winning the world title, his conversion to Islam and the name Muhammad Ali, his refusal to fight in Vietnam, the stripping of his title and, finally, the superhuman effort it took to regain it against George Foreman. There's also the personal relationships with sports journalist Howard Cosell (Jon Voight), Malcolm X (Mario Van Peebles) and the women in his life. Okay, so it may only scratch beneath Ali's skin, but there's no faulting Will Smith's performance or the movie's attempt to chronicle a turbulent decade in US history. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My Opinion
I have to say I didn't find this film interesting or exciting as i thought it was going to be but it ok I guess wont say I watch it again but I guess if you were a fan of legendary Muhammad Ali (moves like a butterfly sting like a bee) then u probably enjoy this movie. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
