Advantages: Perhaps the cinema seats are comfortable Disadvantages: the film, plot, casting director and the script
...I thought that this film was trying to be something it wasnt. The initial reviews and even the beginning of the film suggest that it is brilliant, but it isnt even funny a lot of the time. I mean they cast AlanisMorissette as God for heavens sake like, come on! Jesus had an extra disciple but no one mentioned him becasue he was black, this is what is meant to make the film funny, but it fails miserably. The film itself whilst trying to be daring and outgoing acheives just general stupidity and nothing more....

A feast of music Review ofAlanisMorissette - Feast On Scraps (DVDand CD) (Wide Screen)by
ryanando
Advantages: Amazing music and a dvd to entertain you Disadvantages: Sound quality of the concert footage isn't too great
...is.
Call me crazy but when you listen to an artists collection from start to end, I like to see some sort of progression and evolution. AlanisMorissette is amazing at evolving and changing. Unlike other artists she does this smoothley and naturally over the years. She doesn't go from black eye liner and guitars to bubble gum and pony tails over night which makes me respect her music a LOT more.
The dvd is a great collection of interviews with Alanis over the years, concert footage, songs and a lot of laughs.
The only thing I wasn't a huge fan of is that occasionally the dvd would flip between concerts and music videos mid song. I loved seeing the concerts, and I loved hearing the music, but the huge change in quality of sound was a tad distracting. Still an amazing look into her musical career and any fan of Alanis will love it...

Advantages: One of the funniest films ever made Disadvantages: None
...Dogma is a comedy written by and starring Kevin Smith (Clerks, Mallrats and Chasing Amy). It's about a couple of angels who are banished from heaven but find a loophole in Catholicism that will allow them to return, If the angels are successful all existence will be wiped out. The hilarious duo Jay and Silent Bob who also appear in Kevin Smiths other films return as a couple of prophets sent to help try and stop the angels along with the 13th apostle who was left out of the bible because he was black and a descendant of Jesus Christ. The film even features an appearence by God herself played by AlanisMorissette. Dogma is one of the funniest films I have ever seen and I would highly recommend it to others. Fans of Kevin Smith should not miss this, definitely his best work yet....
