WOW!! is the only words i can think of to describe this dvd....... from start to finish it is a rib tickling, spine tingling, jump up and shout at your tv experience! For those of you who are thinking who is alan carr he is the other half (professionally, that is!) to mr Justin lee collins and is famed for the great extraordinary friday night project.
Tooth Fairy Live is an insight to the great mr Carr that i believe has made him a funny house hold name with his quick witty, funny putdowns and the fast pace of his remarks that keep the audience laughing again and again. Overall the dvd is good and although it is a little predictable at times you have to hand it to alan he knows how to get the audience going.......... with his camp mannerisms his cheeky look and those big glasses, i would forgive you for thinking that you have bumped into the love child of linda le hughes from gimme gimme fame and kenneth williams from the much loved carry on films!
The dvd to me felt that it was on for a lot longer than stated but because of the sharpness of alan's wit i could have sat through a whole 4 hours and STILL be laughing. He played the crowd by involving them with his put downs but also involved the public eye and ranted from everything and anything. My partner paid nearly £15.00 for this dvd which to me was a liittle overpriced especially as i saw it a week later for only £9.99, i have also saw it more recently priced at £7.99.
I think that fans of alan would buy this dvd because it shows alan how he is... the same that you would see on friday night project, and as for virgins to mr carr i think that this dvd would enable you to see what he is like as a performer and is well worth a look......
My opinion............ Very Good............ Worth Taking A Peek.....
