Advantages: Good acting? Disadvantages: Too surreal for my liking
Aks (meaning REFLECTION) was released in mid 2001 and was directed by Rakesh Mehra who also wrote the screenplay. The film stars Amitabh Bachchan, Manoj Bajpai, Raveena Tandon, and Nandita Das. It's classified as 15 (there are certain scenes which are rather unsuitable for youngsters) and it runs for just over 3 hours. PLOT BASICS
Manu Verma (Bachchan) is devoted to his job as head of national security and is on the trail of a crazed serial killer/terrorist ... ...add that the story for Aks was somewhat inspired by the Cage/Travolta hit Face Off, although anyone who's seen that will know that it had no supernatural aspect to it as this film did.
