Another excellent film starring Harrison Ford as the President of the United States. Air force one basically gets taken over by terrorists wanting their comrade to be released from prison
This acting in the film is excellent because the terrorists make threats like they will kill hostages every 30minutes and thats exactly what happens. Most american "threat" movies spend hours with threats and no action but this film does actually give the impression of what terrorists are really like. gary oldman plays the head terrorist part very well.
Harrison ford basically stows away and sabotages the plane from within picking off terrorists now and then. Plenty of shootings and airline action, although the crashing of the plane is the end must have been done a 1980s computer as the graphics are very poor, tey should havce crashed a real jet !!
one more bad point is that the dvd is a flipper, ie it has to be flipped over mid way through which always spoils the modd a little but does allow your lady friends to make a pit stop at the loo
