...What to do on a Sunday night after having worked half the day, then played and won at squash, how to calm the mind. I know go and see a movie, which is relaxed and stars one of the best actors of all time (Well he's Scottish of course I have to say that). Yes the erudite Sean Connery, I would love to hear him saying the rhyme 'she sells sea shells by the sea shore', as a matter of fact I would love to hear me saying that after a few. Yes, I was saying, Sean Connery stars in this delightful film 'Finding Forrester'.
Directed by Gus Van Sant, director of Good Will Hunting, he has come up with a similar formulae to GWH. The plot is similar, however this is where the similarity ends. Advantages: Clever and witty script, good performance from all involved Disadvantages: Girls could cry at the ending ;-)
...Abraham is the stereotypical school teacher bad guy and Busta Rhymes is underused, which is a statement I never thought I’d hear myself saying. Advantages: Method Man and Redman in an excellent & funny comedy! Disadvantages: Based on drugs in some way...
...How High is a comedy starring; rap stars Method Man and Redman, actors/actresses Obba Babatunde, Mike Epps, Fred Willard, among others.
The film is directed by Jesse Dylan. Produced by among others, Danny DeVito and Stacey Sher.
Realease date was 21 December, 2001 and age limit is 15.
Rap star Method Man star as Silas:
He plays one of the main characters from Staten Island. Silas has got his own “pharmacy” at home and spends his days making drugs and sell them. He also uses a lot of time on girls/women.
Silas seems stupid at first, but proves this wrong throughout the film.
(I may add that Ivory is his best friend and he changes Silas’ life.)
Rap star Redman star as Jamal:
He is also one of the main characters, also from Staten Island. Jamal is not that clever, but when he meet Silas his world turns up-side-down.
His world also...
