After Life DVD

...After seeing Lee Evans at the Sheffield Hallam Arena in 2005, i decided to buy this for my husband as a present. I have never seen him laugh so much in alll my life, Mr Evans is funny from the onset.If you have seen other dvd's or videos of his then buy it,you will not be disappointed. He does do his Bohemian Rhapsody routine, which is a classic live! Hopefully when he's due on tour again , will definitely go it was well worth paying £22.50 a ticket for. Although the dvd purchased was from his show in Cardiff, i do now regret not purchasing one from Sheffield at the end of the show as each show was filmed so that any member of the audience that night could buy the dvd from that particular venue. As it was near Christmas Lee and his guests were all dressed in white and there were silver and white streamers let loose at the end... Read review

Advantages: Very very funny
Disadvantages: Would love it to be longer and it's not for posh types

...This DVD is a great example of Peter Kay's hillarious stand up comedy and is well worth a buy. He observes life in a way that I could certainly relate to and after watching it a good three times I still laugh because it is comedy gold. This performance is so good that I was really disappointed when it ended even though it lasts for over an hour. There is a slightly long winded intro to the DVD that I didn't find particularly amusing but you can simply skip through it and be enjoying a class comedy act. There are audience limitations however because Kay uses a lot of examples of life as working to middle class experience it so it may not appeal to those who consider themselve upper class. But other than that I cannot fault this fine piece of comedic art and would reccomend strongly that everyone should give it a try.... Read review

Advantages: two whole hours of Bon Jovi at there best
Disadvantages: couldn't find any

...Having seen Bon Jovi three times in concert it is never quite the same watching the shows on dvd. However The Crush Tour dvd manages to capture the atmosphere as you watch the huge crowd excitedly waiting for their heroes to take the stage. I then sang along to old favorites as well as many new songs from the Crush album. Jon and the boys are at their rocking best,enjoying themselves which shows in the dazzaling performance. One lucky lady gets to dance with Jon to the envy of myself and most of the ladies(and some of the men) in the audience no doubt. After the fantastic concert i still had 30 mins of backstage antics to enjoy. plus the two great videos for Its My Life and Say It Isn't So. I highly recommend this dvd for any Bon Jovi fan....
